Francisco "Bamboo" Mañalac will be the second coach in the Philippine version of the reality singing contest "The Voice."
The former Rivermaya and Bamboo frontman joins Sarah Geronimo, who was introduced to be part of the show early this month, in recruiting contestants to their respective teams to coach them for a chance to be named "The Voice."
"Handa na ako maging coach. May tamang oras lahat ng ‘yan at naniniwala akong ito na 'yun," Bamboo said of his stint in the "The Voice of the Philippines."
Although popularly known for his contribution to local rock music, Bamboo said he is open to coaching singing hopefuls who identify with different genres of music.
