Pink is on the cover of Glamour!

Pink is on the cover of Glamour Magazine's  June 2013 issue!

Pink is promoting her current album, ‘The Truth About Love.’

Below are some excerpts from the interview:

Songs all about sex: “I’m a reformed slut… It’s my very unsophisticated way of taking the power back. I’ve always had an issue with [the idea that] ‘OK, we’ve both decided to do this. Why am I a slut and you’re the player? You didn’t get anything from me that I didn’t get from you.’”
Getting her start by touring with NSync and 98 Degrees: “It was Beatlemania for those boys… I got in trouble for toilet-papering 98 Degrees’ bus. Joey Fatone was in love with me,” Moore recalled. “He took me to Friendly’s on a date, and he bought me an ice cream. Such a sweetheart. He asked my dad’s permission.”
Why she named her daughter Willow Sage: “I love the idea that a willow tree cannot be snapped or broken. And we burn sage all the time. It clears bad energy.”
Her worst day: “Willow and I were at the pool, and I was taking her to nap time. She was walking just a foot in front of me. And she trips and falls and gets a concussion. She passed out. Cut to an ambulance and fire truck. And a CAT scan. She was about a year old. That was the worst day of my life. And what do they say? ‘Kids fall.’ Welcome to parenthood, I thought. I can’t handle this. I’m fitting her for a bubble. Every time she bounced on the bed, I see stitches. Being a parent is a Jedi mind f—. It’s also the raddest thing ever.”
Her husband Carey Hart: “Are things ever good? I don’t believe that exists,” Moore said. “Long-term relationships are an everyday choice. It’s harder to be in a marriage than it is to bounce from one relationship to the next. We’re good because we communicate and we’ve grown up together, not because we don’t fight.”

Kate Hudson goes topless sexy for Glamour!

Kate Hudson goes topless sexy on the cover of Glamour Magazine's April 2013 issue!

Below are some highlights from the interview:
On relationships:
“If I think about my life, I’m not reluctant about taking chances. I’m definitely not reluctant about relationships. The reason I trust so much is that I don’t feel like I have anything to hide. If somebody betrays that trust, it could never be so bad, because I don’t keep any secrets. I’ve had friends who’ve lied to me, I’ve had friends who’ve done things behind my back, I’ve had people steal from me – and it doesn’t stop me from trusting.”
On growing up with famous parents, Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell:
“There’s a misconception that if you come from famous parents you’re seeking fame for the sake of fame. I see it as the opposite: Growing up with parents who were in the spotlight—it was almost like, Wow, if I didn’t love to create characters, I would run as far away from fame as I could get.”
How Kate stays in such great shape:
“Dancing, Pilates, and running after Bing.”
On her one-year-old son Bing, with Muse frontman Matthew Bellamy:
“He’s sprinting! And he’s got a natural mullet, which I’m cutting soon. It’s growing only in the back, so we in the family say he takes after my Gogie—you know, Kurt [Russell]— because Kurt was a mullet guy in the eighties. Bing’s been singing too. He loves music.”
On her nine-year-old son Ryder, from her first marriage to ‘The Black Crowes’ frontman Chris Robinson:
“Ryder is the coolest cat – an amazing big brother, so patient and tolerant. Bing pulls his hair, and Ryder just laughs. He’s such a good person. I couldn’t be a prouder mommy.”
On Goldie inspiring her to be a good parent:
“I always remember my mom saying that there’s only one thing in life she refused to fail at: raising her children. It just shows you it’s very possible to do the thing that makes you happy and still raise a wonderful family. What I learned from my mother is to step back and actually experience things that are happening.”

Miley Cyrus is on the cover of Glamour!

Miley Cyrus is on the cover of Glamour Magazine!

On where she sees herself in ten years:

“Hopefully I’ll be settled: making movies, living in a house, maybe even married. I think my mom did everything pretty close to perfect, and I want to be the cool mom that the kids run home to.”

On her boyfriend: “…The best thing that’s happened to me in a long, long time has been meeting Justin [Gaston], because he’s the most respectful and selfless person I’ve ever known.”

On her figure:

“One thing that bugs me is people who say, ‘Miley really needs to lose some weight’ or ‘She got her boobs done.’ I did start out really skinny, but you’re not going to have boobs when you’re 12 years old. I’m like, ‘What are you talking about—let me grow!’”

On her Hollywood role models:

“I’m a huge Jennifer Aniston fan and a huge Angelina Jolie fan. Jennifer Aniston can put on a plain black dress, with plain makeup and hair, and look so stunning. Angelina always looks so comfortable in her own skin. She’s also changed, going from wild child to being a mom and having a normal life. And Jennifer Aniston bounced back after her divorce. If anything like that ever happens to me, I’m like, ‘Pull a Jennifer, Miley!’ She is so classy.”

Katie Holmes is on the cover Glamour!

Katie Holmes is on the cover of Glamour Magazine April 2009!

Excerpts from the interview:

On being married to Tom Cruise:
“As a woman, you make the transition from being singe to [being] a partner. I have a teammate.”

On being a mom to daughter Suri:
“Becoming a mother has been the most amazing experience—in an instant you become strong. You have to be a little bit wiser; it’s the most important job you have in the world… We like to be together, so we use the house for our [business] meetings. [We] play Yahtzee, board games, Scrabble. We grill; have pool parties. We play ‘The Three Little Pigs’ and Suri is the Big Bad Wolf. [Tom] reads story books to Suri and we all laugh. When a good song comes on, he’ll break into dance. We’ll watch movies in bed—recently Madagascar and Cinderella, for Suri. We have a really good time.”

On her career:
“Acting—I want to do it all. Bad girl, good girl, complicated girl. Aren’t we all complicated?”

On cooking:
“I don’t really cook that much—eventually I will. I do make cupcakes. And [Tom] makes his pasta carbonara for me. He knows exactly how to do it: a pinch of this, a pinch of that. He has a recipe, but he also kind of [improvises] by himself. You have to do the egg at a certain time. He did it once when we were camping.”

Jennifer Connely is on the cover of Glamour!

Jennifer Connelly is on the cover of Glamour Magazine for March 2009!

Excerpts from the interview:

GLAMOUR: Many think of you as the Queen of Angst. You’ve often said you find those roles interesting. But you aren’t, in real life, a dark, disturbed person, are you?

JENNIFER CONNELLY: No. I don’t feel angst-ridden!

GLAMOUR: Lately you’ve wanted to be considered for less serious roles. Did He’s Just Not That Into You fit the bill?

JC: Yeah. I had just done a film called Reservation Road, which was about a mother who loses a child, and it was harrowing. It was fun to do something very different.

GLAMOUR: A chick flick.

JC: It was not like anything I’d done.

GLAMOUR: Scarlett Johansson plays a yoga teacher intent on stealing your husband in He’s Just Not That Into You. And she does it without feeling any guilt.

JC: Oh, I’ve met all kinds of people who practice yoga who are uptight or messed up. And some people see yoga classes as pickup places.

GLAMOUR: In the movie, your character suspects that her husband is cheating. What do you consider to be a relationship deal breaker?

JC: I have a thing about honesty; I think it’s crucial to a relationship. Otherwise, one person holds all the power. It’s healthy to be straightforward, and it turns out you can wind up weathering a lot. Knowing that everything is on the table—what you see is what you get—lends a sense of safety.

GLAMOUR: And how do you apply that to your own marriage?

JC: Neither my husband nor I am interested in mincing words. If I break something, for example, I have to announce it. I’m a compulsive confessor.

GLAMOUR: Do you agree with the concept of your new film—if a guy doesn’t act overly enthusiastic, or make a great effort in a relationship, he’s “just not that into you”?

JC: Not necessarily: It could also mean he’s not able to translate nice feelings into nice behavior. Or that he has really horrible communication skills. But you wouldn’t want to be in that relationship, anyway!

GLAMOUR: As a married woman, do you have a perspective on the singles scene?

JC: It’s been so long since I’ve dated that I don’t understand what’s going on anymore with things like Facebook and MySpace. A friend of mine wrote “LOL” to me the other day. I thought she meant “Lord, oh, Lord.”

GLAMOUR: Laugh out loud!

JC: I’ve been married for almost six years, you know.
