Kris Aquino will only take a leave from ABS-CBN and not resigning after all!

ABS CBN and Kris Aquino have met several times to discuss her intent to resign.

This is what comes out of their negotiations, an official statement from ABS-CBN:

ABS CBN fully understands Kris’ desire to be the best mother to Bimby and Josh. On the other hand, ABS-CBN values Kris as an iconic talent and a respected national media personality. Both parties recognize her responsibilities to the public, her co-workers and to the advertisers.

After thorough discussions, Kris has agreed to take a leave instead. This will allow her to spend quality time with Bimby in June when he is on school break and to bring  Josh abroad to advance his developmental progress.  After her leave, Kris will honor her responsibilities and will fulfill her contractual commitments to ABS-CBN without impairing her role as a mother.

2013 Box-Office Entertainment Awards Winners List revealed!

Star Cinema wins big with John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo as Box-Office King and  Queen, respectively, for their film "The Mistress." Kris Aquino, Vice Ganda and Ai Ai delas Alas, who starred in the Star Cinema and Viva Films offering "Sisterakas," were named Phenomenal Box-Office Stars. Dingdong Dantes has been declared Film Actor of the Year for “One More Try”, another MMFF hit from Star Cinema. His two leading ladies in the film, Angelica Panganiban and Angel Locsin, are joint winners as Film Actresses of the Year.

First two slots in "Pilipinas Got Talent 4" semis taken by Chaeremon Basa and The Miss Tress!

Flair tender Chaeremon Basa and transgender singing trio The Miss Tress ruled the first quarterfinals results night and advanced to the semi-finals of the country's biggest and grandest talent-reality show "Pilipinas Got Talent 4."

The 16-year-old talent from Bacolod, who showcased his leveled up flair tending skills during last Saturday’s (Apr 6) first quarterfinal performance night, topped the nationwide votes with 28.09%, thereby securing the first out of 12 semi-finalist slots.

The singing transgenders from the Bulacan, on the other hand, won the unanimous judges’ votes after competing against The Security and Escort Battalion Combo of the Philippine Army in the battle for survival round.

Chaeremon and The Miss Tres will advance to the semi-finals and battle ten other semi-finalists who have yet to be named in the coming weeks. “Pilipinas Got Talent 4” proved to be the biggest edition yet as it welcomed more diverse acts, conducted auditions online and abroad, and created a quarterfinal round that will further intensify the screening process.

The show created a buzz online recently after The Miss Tres and All in One Crew trended worldwide on micro-blogging site Twitter. This Saturday (Apr 13), black light dancers Zilent Overload, flagtwirlers Si.Co.Gu., acrobats Eyx-Point, boy crooner John Neil Roa, singer Eumee Lyn Capile, and belly dancer with sword Sundee Viñas will battle it out for the viewers’ and judges’ votes in the second quarterfinal performance night.

New acts make the cut, enter the quarterfinals of “Pilipinas Got Talent 4”!

Exciting new acts ranging from car drifting, synchronized swimming, motor stunts, flairtending, and dog tricks made it to this season’s “Pilipinas Got Talent” top 36 acts that will compete in the much-awaited quarterfinals of the country’s biggest and grandest talent-reality search on television.

The 36 quarterfinalists are composed of 14 dance acts; seven singing acts; three musical acts; and 12 variety/novelty acts that include various stunts, outdoor acts, magic acts, and a whole lot more.

Aside from welcoming a variety of new acts this season, PGT 4 also proved to be the biggest PGT edition yet as the show conducted worldwide and online auditions. Among those who auditioned abroad via TFCkat, two of them made it through namely Russel Figueroa of Canada and Cris Bernardo of Dubai.

Who will make it as the first set of semi-finalists?

The competition is definitely tougher now as PGT enters the quarterfinals. Judge Ai Ai Delas Alas was first to express how high her expectations are on all 36 quarterfinalists. In a VTR, she quipped “Lahat sila ineexpect naming maglevel up.”

Meanwhile, since voting season is about to begin for PGT, judges Kris Aquino and Freddie “FMG” Garcia appealed to the viewers to vote for the acts that deserve to make it through the next round of the competition.

“Kung favorite niyo at gusto niyo talaga manalo, gastusan sana ninyo,” Kris said.

“Sa inyong boboto, sana piliin niyo talaga kung sino may talent,” added FMG.

Upon her return, Kris will fulfill her commitments to her soap “Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw,” which is nearing its end. She will also have to stay as a judge in “Pilipinas Got Talent” till its end on June.Being a foreign franchise, there are commitments we have to fulfill and rules we need to abide by.

Kris TV had taped advanced episodes in anticipation of her long planned vacation with her sons. 

 

Ms. Kris Aquino and ABS-CBN management are also scheduled to meet upon her return to Manila.

After James Yap cried a bucket, Kris Aquino cried a river as an answer!

The circus that is Kris Aquino - James Yap spilling dirt on television has just gotten overboard!

James Yap was first seen on TV crying a bucket on the case filed by Aquino, a Permanent Protection Order and denied her accusations and said that Aquino threatened him in return. 

Now it is Kris Aquino's turn to show up on TV with her sisters in tow ( is it because Noynoy is out of town, just kidding) and told her side of the story and denied what Yap said. And she also said that she will retire this early in showbiz to sacrifice for her son Bimby and live a simple life to protect his privacy.

James Yap gets back at Kris Aquino files Hold Departure Order on son!

Between the battle of Kris Aquino and ex-husband James Yap the one in the losing end is none other then their son! A custody battle is up ahead.

James Yap will file hold-departure order on his son Bimby at the Makati RTC tomorrow morning, March 22. James is now in a legal battle with former wife Kris Aquino over the custody of their five-year-old son.

James Yap on Kris Aquino's threat: "Sabi niya, ‘Baka nakalimutan mo, may three years pa yung brother ko.’ "!

James Yap broke his silence when ex-wife Kris Aquino filed a TPO (Temporary Protection Order) against him for making "overt sexual advances" (See related post HERE)!

He even cried on national television saying that he will do his best to fight for his visitation rights to his son.

This is what James had to say on the issue:

“Walang katotohanan naman yan.”

This is what James version of what happened:

“Ayaw talaga ako i-kiss ni Bimby, so pumunta ako kay Kris, hinawakan ko siya rito. ‘Bimb, look o, ki-kiss ko na mama mo…’
“Tapos si Kris biglang nagsabi na, ‘Sinasaktan mo ako.’
“So hi-nug siya tapos ‘pag hug niya nakatalikod sa ‘kin si Bimby, nakaharap siya sa akin tapos ang mukha ni Kris, gumaganun-ganun siya tapos (ngiting aso) saka ko sinabi, ito talaga!”

On his son having ill feelings against him 'coz Aquino had been saying things about him behind his back:

“Sobrang nasasaktan ako, kasi sinasabihan ako ng anak ko na, ‘I don’t like you, you’re a liar.’ Iniisip ko, ano ba ang ginawa ko?”
“Sino nagsasa (pauses crying)… Sino nagsasabi sa ‘yo niyan? Sabi niya, ‘Mama, mama.’
“Pag sinasabihan ako masasakit na salita ang ginagawa ko, ‘Bimb, tingin ka sa mata ni Papa. Ito lang masasabi ko sa ‘yo, love na love ka ni Papa.’”

When he confronted Aquino, thisd is what she said:

“Sabi niya, ‘Baka nakalimutan mo, may three years pa yung brother ko.’ Sabi ko, ‘Ganun? Grabe ka naman ang yabang mo.’ Galit na galit siya nun.”

On the accusation of sexual overtures:

“Wala naman ako pakialam kay Kris, eh ang gusto ko lang makasama na yung anak ko.”

Kris Aquino filed TPO against ex-husband for making "overt sexual advances"!

Host-actress Kris Aquino has filed a temporary protection order against  former husband James Yap, from a Makati City court!

Below are some excerpts from Philippine Daily Inquirer report:

Accusing her former husband James Yap of overstepping his boundaries and of attempting to seduce her while visiting her home, and of inflicting psychological harm on their son James, or “Bimby,” actress and TV host Kris Aquino has filed a temporary protection order (TPO) from a Makati City court.
The TPO will be good for 30 days from its issuance, although after a hearing, the petition also asks that the protection order be made permanent.
“Protection orders” are a provision of the law against violence against women and their children to protect victims of domestic violence from further harassment or harm by their spouses or partners.
In the petition, Kris asked the court to order Yap to stay away from her, her 5-year-old son Bimby and any household member, keep a distance of at least 100 meters, and to stay away from her residence, school, place of employment or any place frequented by her and her son.
As detailed in the petition, during a visit to Kris’ condominium unit last December to pick up his son as part of his twice-weekly visitations with Bimby, Yap entered his former wife’s bedroom and made “overt sexual advances,” which Kris vigorously resisted, provoking Yap to “utter mean and malicious statements” in the face of rejection.
The petition cited that James acted “as if he was still entitled to his matrimonial rights,” even if they are no longer married, forcing himself on her in full view of their son.
Horrified by the scene, which was followed by a heated argument, Bimby told his father to leave the room and to “stop hurting” his mom, the petition added.
The petition also mentioned that Bimby had even positioned himself between his parents, and begged his mother to “tell him to go away.” Since then, the petition said, the 5-year old has exhibited signs of being highly upset and agitated whenever he is in his father’s company or when he hears his voice on the phone.
“The physical, sexual, emotional, psychological and moral harm and injury foisted (on that day) was occasioned by the unfettered access of respondent Yap on the household and persons of the petitioners,” the petition noted.

“Pilipinas Got Talent” judges Kris Aquino, Ai Ai Delas Alas, and Freddie “FMG” Garcia will soon deliberate who among hopefuls will become official quarter finalists in the upcoming Judges Cull round of the country’s biggest talent-reality show.
