One Stage, One Night: BBS Featuring Kean Cipriano, LIVE!

Philippines' all-star band named the Big Band Syndicate [BBS] debuts onstage in one major concert at the Aliw Theater on November 26, 2011.

19 years old Joshua Louise P. Uy, concert producer and part of the young generation, envisions to reach out and support the Philippines' local artists and to boost our Original Pinoy Music [OPM] thus strengthening our identity as Filipinos.

“There has been a movement promoting OPM lately and to be able to sustain that advocacy, we have to reach out to the youth. I believe the youth are most likely to carry out our music legacy,” shares Uy when asked about his reason for producing the concert.

“You will know the fruit by its tree," you can just imagine one says when Uy showed his love and interest for OPM. Note that his mother, Ma. Pelita Peralta-Uy, Managing Director of Beginnings at Twenty Plus, Inc., also shares this advocacy for OPM.

“I want to complement my mom's vision for OPM that's why I want to expand its audience to a larger group--the youth, since OPM mostly appeals to a much older generation, " Uy concluded.

Loyalty to the Filipino nation has always been the primary crusade of Beginnings at Twenty Plus Inc., one of the country's top media services provider--the company behind several successful events such as Last Valentine nAPO Nila, OC at the PICC, It's Complicated, and one of the Philippines multi-awarded independent films, Sigwa. ONE STAGE, ONE NIGHT concert includes special guests namely Raimund Marasigan [Sandwich], Jay Durias [South Bourder], Buddy Zabala [The Dawn], Paolo Bernaldo [Moonstar 88], Eunice Jorge [Gracenote], Madeline [Paraluman], Wendell Garcia [Pupil], Bob Cañamo and Rye Sarmiento [6Cyclemind], Mike Dizon [Sandwich] and Callalily with lead vocalist, Kean Cipriano, 21, as the concert's featured artist.
