Jake Cuenca: New playboy in town?

Is Jake Cuenca slowly building himself up as showbiz’s newest playboy?

The list of women being romantically linked to him is ever-growing and if rumors are to be believed, his latest “conquest” is said to be John Lloyd’s ex-girlfriend stylist Liz Uy.

The two were recently spotted at a party. The sweetness they displayed all through the night had showbiz observers concluding there’s more to their friendship than meets the eye.

But Jake is quick to douse the rumor. On "Showbiz News Ngayon" aired February 10, 2010, the actor clarified that Liz is just among his lady friends, no more, no less.

Jake Cuenca on Melissa Ricks: ‘Sobrang thankful ako na nakilala ko siya’!

Jake Cuenca received an advance birthday surprise as his family and closest friends gave him a special video message during his guest appearance on Entertainment Live last Saturday, December 26. But more than her pride in what he has accomplished in his showbiz career this year, his mom was more eager for him to be in a serious relationship again. “Yung kwentuhan namin ang name-miss ko. He tells me everything. Like dream niya talaga ang maging good actor. Ang wish ko on his birthday is sana makahanap siya ng love niya. Somebody who’ll love him and take care of him. Yun ang gusto ko para sa anak ko,” Jake’s mom said.

Matt Evans clears up rumors about Melissa Ricks and Jake Cuenca!

Matt Evans has been Melissa Rick’s onscreen partner ever since he finished his stint as a housemate on Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition years ago. The two have become good friends and have worked together on several TV shows and a couple of movies. Since he is almost with Melissa 24/7, Matt was asked about the rumors that Jake Cuenca used to visit Melissa on the set of Kambal Sa Uma, something Matt was quick to deny. “Hindi ko pa nabubuking. Kapag nabuking ko sasabihin ko sa inyo,” he began. “Hindi sa pinagtatakpan ko siya. Actually wala siyang nasasabi sa akin. Kasi kung nag-oopen up man siya, pahapyaw-hapyaw lang.
