KimXi's 'Bakit Hindi Ka Crush ng Crush Mo?' movie synopsis revealed!

College professor and self-proclaimed "Internet action star"  Ramon Bautista's  humor and "self-help" book  'Bakit Hindi Ka Crush ng Crush Mo?' is now a movie starring Xian Lim and Kim Chiu!

Synopsis:

Chiu is seen as Sandy, who, after going through a break-up, is left to ponder why she feels unwanted.
Matters turn worse for Sandy when she is laid off by her company, under the leadership of its new bachelor CEO, Alex Prieto (Lim).
Realizing his mistake when employees belatedly put in a good word for Sandy, Alex hires her back, and the two start forming an unlikely friendship.
In a love story about "the ugly duckling in all of us and how we turn into someone worth loving," Alex at one point even offers Sandy a make-over so she will no longer cry over a failed relationship.

Directed by Joyce Bernal, "Bakit Hindi Ka Crush ng Crush Mo?" also stars Bautista, Kean Cipriano and Tonton Gutierrez.

Produced by ABS-CBN's film production outfit Star Cinema, the movie will hit theaters nationwide on July 31.

Kim Chiu-Xian Lim: Romance brewing?

Will the onscreen love team of Kim Chiu and Xian Lim now for real?!

The tandem of Kim Chiu and Xian Lim in the hit Primetime TV series "My Binondo Girl" is now the favorite of many viewers. They want Xian to be Kim's love team. In fact, love teams called 'KimXi' and 'JaNdy' were now formed!

Xian revealed in his interview that he just recently gave Kim a big or a life-sized teddy bear. According to him: “Narinig ko kasi na may sinasabi si Kim, she was telling someone na she wanted a life-sized teddy bear kasi nga raw mag-isa lang siya sa bahay. Kapag nalulungkot siya she wants daw company, so ‘yung teddy bear daw she wanted it."

“While going around a store, nakakita ako ng life-sized teddy bear. Sabi ko, ‘Ito kaya ‘yung gusto ni Kim?’ So I bought it and I gave it to her. I gave it to her sa set,” Xian further detailed.

Xian even talked about his working relationship with Kim. He said: “She’s always smiling. Parang very magaan kasama. I guess that’s 'yun lang 'yung secret doon eh. If magaan kasama 'yung tao na your with, then it’s nice to be around them."

Xian Lim is excited to spend his first Christmas in the Philippines!

2009 has been very kind to Xian Lim who not only bagged a role in the high-rating teleserye Katorse, but he has also started taping for a new show, Rubi, which stars Angelica Panganiban. Xian will also be celebrating his first Christmas here in the Philippines. “Ito ang magiging very first Christmas ko dito. Sa States kami lang talaga ng mom ko magkasama nagce-celebrate. Xian Lim speaks out about his absence from ‘Katorse’!

Xian Lim has not been seen on Katorse for a few weeks now, raising speculations that he had been axed from the show. ABS-CBN.com caught up with Xian during the Star Magic concert rehearsal and he shed some light on the situation. “One month na rin akong hindi nagte-taping. I was just told by someone from the production team na aalisin muna ako, ‘yung character ko pupunta muna ng US to study. Later on nabasa ko na nga sa script na ganun ang mangyayari. I asked why but they told me it was part of the story. But they assured me naman na babalik ako.”

Enchong Dee talks about his torrid kissing scene with Erich Gonzales in ‘Paano Ko Sasabihin?’

The tandem of Enchong Dee and Erich Gonzales in Katorse has gained quite fan base, something which has some people wondering about Ejay Falcon and Xian Lim whose characters are supposed to be the leading men as well. But in a recent interview with ABS-CBN.com, Enchong was quick to clarify that each of them will take turns in the spotlight throughout the said soap. “Ay hindi totoong [tinanggal na si Xian]. Rotation lang talaga yung story ng Katorse. Walang kabugan, iisang show e so tulong-tulong kami. Actually madami ngang nagsasabi sa akin na lumalabas na Enchong Dee ang nilagay sa storya. Sabi ko naman hindi, nagkataon lang na masaya gawin yung character ni Jojo. Xian Lim insists that he and Erich Gonzales are just friends!

In spite of their constant denials about their rumored romance, people still believe that there’s something going on between Xian Lim and Erich Gonzales. Even Kris Aquino noticed their closeness during one of Sagip Kapamilya’s relief operations. The very observant SNN host saw how Xian held Erich’s water bottle while she drank from it, when she can very well do without his help. But the young actor insisted that it was just a courteous gesture on his part. “No naman. Busy kasi si Erich nun magpass ng goods and super init kasi nakaexpose talaga kami sa initan. Nasa Nangka, Marikina kami at that time. Busing-busy talaga, lahat ng tao in a rush. So I’m trying to be a gentleman lang.
