Young actress Kim Chiu is so comfortable with her screen partner, Gerald Anderson, that she says she would feel sad if reports that she’d be paired with a new actor prove to be true.
"Malungkot kasi, actually, four years kaming magka-love team. ‘Pag may panibago kang ka-eksena, panibagong challenge uli ito kung meron mang bagong darating na love team,” she said in an interview aired on "Showbiz News Ngayon," June 16.
Likewise, the Kim-Gerald fans, according to Chiu, are also against the idea.
“Parang nalulungkot [sila]. Siyempre, ako rin malulungkot. [Pero] naintindihan naman nila ‘yon kasi part ng trabaho ‘yon, e,” Chiu said.
She hopes her fans would still support her even sans Anderson.
“Kahit na ano man ang dumating, sana nandyan pa rin sila para suportahan kami.”
To show support for her forthcoming “Maalaala Mo Kaya” episode, Anderson dropped by the set where Chiu was taping.
“Sandali lang. Parang on the way [kasi] pauwi niya,” Chiu shared.
The young actress is also excited about "Your Song," which sees her working with the Concert Comedy Queen Ai Ai delas Alas.
“Hindi siya drama, sobrang light, comedy. Ako nga, kinukuwentuhan pa lang ako ng story, tawang-tawa na ako. Sana magawa ko siya. Sabi naman ni Ai Ai tutulungan niya ako,” Chiu said.
