Sam Milby quells 'Anne'-other rumor!

Acoustic heartthrob Sam Milby nixes all reports that he and ex-girlfriend Anne Curtis have reunited.

Fact is, he’s not spending Valentine’s Day with Anne.

“No, friends lang kami,” he said on "Showbiz News Ngayon" when asked where he and Anne will celebrate the V-day.

“I’ll spend it with the people of Bulacan [because] I’ll be doing a concert [there]. Actually, iyon lang ang gagawin ko sa Valentine’s Day,” he added.



Anne, too, had denied the reconciliation rumor with Sam which was sparked by the many instances when they were seen together on dates last year.

“No, no hindi kami nagkabalikan. As of now, we’re just enjoying each other’s company. Tignan na lang natin [where it goes] from there,” Anne said in a prior SNN interview.

This should put an end to the seemingly endless reports that he and Anne are back in each other’s arms. The reconciliation rumor, however, would surely beef up interest in their tandem as they are set to do a movie together.

Lately, Sam is a frequent visitor to Japan, which the heartthrob says is business-related.

“I actually have an endorsement in Japan that’s why lagi akong pumupunta duon. May mga poster siya. Nagulat ako the last time, and before that, nakita ko ang flyers and pictures,” he explained.

This month, the acoustic singer is Japan-bound again.

“May concert ako [doon] with ‘Pinoy Dream Academy’ and Zanjoe Marudo.”

Meanwhile, Sam is also being romantically linked to Maja Salvador but nothing solid has come out of it even as Maja admits that she is being pursued by a commercial model, Rambo Nunez.
