We heard from a good friend who is based in Los Angeles, California over the weekend and we were surprised that he seems to know much more than the rest of us here in the Philippines about the rumor involving controversial sexy star Krista Ranillo and the champion boxer Manny Pacquiao.
My friend first asked us if Manny and his wife Jinkee are already officially separated, to which we told him, “from what we saw on TV and the news, they’re still together. They, in fact, seemed to have patched things up after that hugely intriguing incident in Las Vegas when they were there for the Pacquiao-Cotto fight.”
But our friend refused to believe it saying that one of Pacquiao’s “friends” told him conspiratorially that all is not well between the husband and wife. Krista, he said, is in fact in Los Angeles, and is in the area very near Manny’s Palazzo residence.
He, who lives in the same area in LA said that he has been seeing Krista attend mass with her family at the Cathedral Chapel of St. Vibiana. He told us that there are only two churches near Manny’s place, and in this one, there are less Filipinos who go to hear mass.
He also said that according to his “friend” in the Pacquiao inner circle, Manny is so smitten by the charms of the young actress that he really can’t give her up despite the cruel reaction of the people in their combination.
Next week, he said, Krista will be home because Jinkee will be flying in to spend Valentine’s Day with her husband. Jinkee couldn’t come earlier because she is very much hands on with her children, one whom will be celebrating (or celebrated) his birthday this week.
We are among those who wish that this unending saga of marital trouble between the three would come to an absolute ending. Some people should learn that fleeting “happiness” can cause lifetime damage to those who they profess to love and protect.
