Iwa Moto’s secret to a sexy body!

Her svelte figure graced the cover of a popular men’s magazine just last March. At a recent fashion show for an underwear brand, she slinked on the catwalk in a hot, shimmery show-stopping two-piece.

Indeed, Iwa Moto (whose real name is Aileen Quimado Iwamoto) has come a long way from being crowned the First Princess in the third season of “StarStruck” in 2005.

Iwa and her undeniably sexy figure has also fueled the imagination of men everywhere, earning her a spot in the 100 Hottest or 100 Sexiest lists of various men’s magazines five years in a row, ranking #4 this year.

But Iwa works hard to keep her body in top shape, as “24 Oras” finds out.

In their report on July 6, they caught up with the sexy starlet at a gym in Ortigas where Iwa was in the middle of Jiu-Jitsu training.

These days, when Iwa isn’t busy, she gets in shape by doing the Brazilian martial art that also combines combat sport and a self-defense system focused on grappling and ground fighting.

“Para maiba naman, kasi ang dami na… like everybody is doing boxing, kick boxing… At least ito it’s something new and mas interesting siya kasi mas marami kang matututunan,” she said.

Such is Iwa’s fascination with the martial art that she is even training under Eros Baluyot, the 17-year-old Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu world champion who won his novice category gold medal in California just last June.

According to Baluyot, Iwa is a focused student who has shown a lot of potential despite being new to the discipline. Showing a real rapport between them, Iwa teases her coach about other showbiz personalities, but later gets serious about the training.

“It would be great kung marami siyang maturuan,” she says of her coach, and adds, “Kasi talagang magandang self defense siya.”

And aside from enhancing focus and stamina, it does work wonders for body tone—with Iwa herself as its walking endorsement.

After showing her body off proudly at the recent underwear fashion show, Iwa told “24 Oras” what she felt:

“Sarap, kasi alam mo ‘yun, yung pagod at hirap na ginawa sa akin nitong mga tao rito… worth it. ‘Yung warm up nila kakaiba. Gumugulong gulong pa ‘yan,” she described.
