Robin Padilla hosts Wowowee!

Dashing action star Robin Padilla brought cheers to the audience of the top-rating noontime show Wowowee on Saturday.

Padilla joined Wowowee co-hosts Pokwang, Mariel Rodriguez, Valerie Concepcion, Carmen Soo, Kelly Misa, Isabelle Abiera and Jed Montero during its PrimeTanghali show Saturday.

During the show, Padilla shared with the audience the several text messages he received that provided him feedbacks while hosting the show.

More cheers followed, especially from the women, when the action star announced that he was going to sing a song and dedicate it to all Filipino migrant workers abroad.

Accompanied by an acoustic guitar played by Ric Mercado and back-up singers, Padilla sang ‘O Giliw ko, Miss na Miss Kita’ while at the same time offered long-stemmed roses to women audience.

The show also invited Padilla’s past leading ladies and sidekicks to play the Willie of Fortune.

Willie Revillame, who is the main host of the noontime show, has been absent from the show for days now after he challenged ABS-CBN management to fire entertainment columnist and radio host Jobert Sucaldito.

This came after Sucaldito criticized contestants joining "Wowowee" in his column.
