Sam Pinto is okay about working with Jake Cuenca!

While the other ex-housemates of Pinoy Big Brother Double Up are back inside Kuya’s house, Sam Pinto is already gearing up for a showbiz career. She recently appeared in ASAP XV and co-hosted Wowowee alongside Willie Revillame. In an interview with ABS-CBN.com following her eviction from PBB, Sam admitted that being in showbiz has long been her goal. “I really want to be in showbiz. I want to try everything, especially acting. Modeling siyempre nagagawa ko na. Singing and dancing kailangan ko muna mag-workshop, ha ha ha!”



The 20-year-old model-fashion designer has been vocal about her big crush on Gerald Anderson and her dream of working with him. “Sobrang crush ko si Gerald. Na-meet ko na siya for only two minutes. Gusto ko siyang maka-work because he’s so hot. Pero ayoko namang pumagitna sa kanilang dalawa ni Kim (Chiu) because napaka-successful ng love team nila. Sana ‘wag magalit ‘yung mga fans.”

When asked if she would be open to the idea of Jake Cuenca being her leading man in a teleserye or movie, she laughed and answered, “Okay lang. Why not? Ha ha ha!” Sam had admitted that she once dated Jake but lost touch with him shortly. “We met at a photo shoot for a toothpaste. Then we started communicating tapos biglang nawala. Then we talked again, we started going out. More of clubbing ang ginagawa namin, walang dinner date. Pero biglang nawala. That was before Tayong Dalawa. Siguro naging busy lang siya kaya nawala na ‘yung communication.”

Sam confessed that back then she was a bit hurt that the hunky actor just stopped communicating with her. “I was hurt kasi bigla lang, poof, wala na. That time medyo iniisip ko na rin kasi kung it will turn into something good. Pero wala e. I guess ganun talaga.”

Sam would rather stay single for now and just focus on establishing a career in showbiz. “‘Wag muna siguro ngayon. Masaya ako ngayon na single. Feeling ko mas marami akong pwedeng gawin. Lalo na ngayon na opportunities are coming my way.”
