Angelica Panganiban is "Rubi"

The Mexicannobela hit Rubi is going to have a Pinoy version and Angelica Panganiban will play the lead role of the local version.



Angelica’s co-stars in the soap opera include Shaina Magdayao, Diether Ocampo, and Jake Cuenca. Rubi will be aired in the first quarter of 2010 on ABS-CBN.

Angelica said that Rubi is a very big challenging role for her to play since it is the first time that a role will revolve on a bida-kontrabida role. She already played a villain to Claudine Baretto in Iisa Pa Lamang her first which she did justice to the role.
