Kris gifts Pokwang with pink bus for helping P.Noy!

TV host-comedienne Pokwang received a Mini Coaster from one of her closest friends in showbiz, presidential sister Kris Aquino.

Previously owned by Aquino, the pink customized mini-bus was given to Pokwang as a token of appreciation.



Pokwang was just one of the big stars in showbiz who was very vocal in supporting President Benigno Aquino III during the recent automated national elections.

In an interview with Showbiz News Ngayon, Pokwang said the “unexpected gift” was given to her before Aquino left the country for a 3-week vacation in Orlando, Florida.

“Bago siya umalis [papunta] sa US ay tinext niya na ako na ide-deliver daw sa bahay. Kasi during that time may ‘Wowowee’ ako,” Pokwang said.

Pokwang added she never dreamed of having a bus of her own and never expected to receive a really big present from Aquino.

“Actually ako, ang gusto ko lang talaga ay malaking sasakyan kasi malaki ang pamilya ko. Sobrang marami kaming magkakapatid, mga pamangkin ko, ilan yang mga yan. Pero hindi ganoon kaganda at hindi ko ini-expect talaga,” the ‘Wowowee’ co-host shared.

According to Pokwang, the person who really turned emotional because of her new bus was her mother.

“Ang unang una umiyak nanay ko. Natuwa talaga ang nanay ko nang bonggang bongga. Saka kasi mahilig maglaboy ang nanay ko. Excited na excited siya. Ginamit na nga agad,” Pokwang said.

Pokwang vowed to Aquino that she will take care of the famous pink bus. She also thanked Aquino for being a very good and supportive friend.

“Maraming maraming salamat Ms. Kris sa napakagandang regalo. Hindi ko inasahang regalo, thank you so much. Nandiyan ka lagi hindi lang sa [pagbigay ng] mga bagay, kung hindi [pati] mga advice. Bilang kaibigan nandiyan ka. Maraming salamat. Kaya di ko inaalis na palagi kang kasama sa dasal ko. Gusto ko lagi ka lang masaya,” Pokwang ended.
