"I Do Bidoo Bidoo" and "Bwakaw" leads with most nominations at the 10th Golden Screen Movie Awards!

The movie musical “I Do Bidoo Bidoo” and the Oscar-submitted drama “Bwakaw” lead the roster of nominees for the 10th Golden Screen Movie Awards to be handed out by the Entertainment Press Society (Enpress) on April 27.

“I Do Bidoo Bidoo” earned a total of 15 nominations, including Best Motion Picture-Comedy or Musical, Best Direction, and no less than 9 acting nods for its singing stars.
“Bwakaw” scored 12 nominations, including Best Motion Picture-Drama, Best Direction, and Best Actor for lead star Eddie Garcia.

Coinciding with the award-giving body’s 10th year is the Dekada Award for the Gallery of Distinction. Past winners will be recognized for their contribution to the field of acting, 12 artists, one producer and one director: Zsa Zsa Padilla, Ara Mina, Maricel Soriano, Eugene Domingo, Judy Ann Santos, Coco Martin, Iza Calsado, Dennis Trillo, Sid Lucero, Tirso Cruz III, Aga Muhlach, and Cherry Pie Picache; MLR Films/Quantum Films; and Jeffrey Jeturian.
Recipients of the Presidential Recognition include Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista, Senator Jinggoy Estrada, Senator Tito Sotto, Manila Vice-Mayor Isko Moreno, Senator Bong Revilla, Jr. and Governor Vilma Santos.
The awarding ceremonies will be held on April 27 at Teatrino Greenhills.
