Korina tells ghost encounter in Baguio!

Friends of broadcaster Korina Sanchez have recently thrown a bridal shower for her in Baguio City where an unlikely and uninvited guest came.

During her television guesting on “Ruffa and Ai” Thursday, Sanchez shared that a female ghost made its presence known during the party.

She said: “Talagang may babaeng lumabas sa salamin. Hindi kami nakakita, iyong 3 driver… 10 minuto ang babae sa salamin. Kinakausap na ‘Umalis ka na, umalis ka na.’ Ten minutes nanalagi siya doon.”


“Lapitin kasi ako talaga. Meron akong third eye. Kapag binubuksan ko, nakakaramdam ako talaga.”

Other than that experience, the “Rated K” host, who is about to get married to Sen. Manuel “Mar” Roxas II on October 27, said she and her friends had a blast during the party.

“It was really fun. Naka-pajama kami. Walang mga make-up, kainan kami. Nag-choreograph pa kami ng sayaw…. pinasaya talaga ako ng mga friends ko,” she said.

B-day party

On Thursday, “Ruffa and Ai” threw a birthday bash for Sanchez, who turned 45 years old on Monday. Comedian Jon Santos and child star Sharlene San Pedro, two of the known impersonators of Sanchez, also showed up.

“Noong birthday ko kasi sinabi ko sa mga friends ko na bigyan niyo na lang ako ng relief goods. Lahat ng binigay nila sa aming relief goods, inimpake namin at dinala namin diyan sa Taguig [at] sa Tumana sa Marikina kasi gutom na gutom ang mga tao doon,” she said.

Sanchez said she would also distribute 15 boxes of mineral water, 1,000 pieces of toothbrush and 100 pieces of soap to the province of Laguna. The goods were donated by her friends.

When asked about Roxas’ birthday gift, meanwhile, Sanchez replied that she and her fiancé went to a beach. She said that, since both of them were busy, their out-of-town celebration gave them time to relax and “recharge.”

She said it was “one of the best gifts ever” because both of them “had a chance to think a lot of things.”

“It was really a fun, fun birthday. Nakahiga ka lang sa dalapampasigan. Ang daming waves, paikot-ikot ka lang doon,” she shared.

As for her birthday wish, Sanchez said: “Huwag na tayong bagyuhin ever... please lang sa araw ng kasal ko, walang bagyo.”
