Judy Ann Santos: 'I owe it all to ABS-CBN'!

Named by the press as ABS-CBN's Queen of Teleseryes, Judy Ann Santos said her success today is the fruit of her hard labor ever since she started in showbiz as a child actress. And for all the rewards she is reaping now, she said that she never could have succeeded without the help of other people. “Flattering marinig 'yun pero parang hindi pa rin ako makapaniwala kasi maraming magagaling na artista ang ABS-CBN and I owe it all sa ABS na nakilala ako sa mga teleserye kasi para sa akin hindi din naman ako makikilala kung hindi dahil sa tandem namin niGladys Reyes sa Mara Clara so kung may isang tao man na dapat kasama ko sa achievement na ito eh siGladys 'yun.”

As she talked about old friends in showbiz, Judy Ann is excited about feedback on her reunion project with her 'Gimik' friends for Your Song Presents Gimik The Reunion, which they just recently finished taping. There are also rumors about Jolina Magdangal's guest appearance on the said show, saying she will eventually return to ABS-CBN and when Judy Ann was asked about it she admitted she really has no idea about it. “Ah talaga? Eh, ‘di masaya kung sakaling matuloy. Nashoot na namin 'yung Your Song Gimik the Reunion so kung sakali baka magkaroon ng part 2, baka kasama siyaLima lang kami dito, si Diether Ocampo, si G Toengi, si Mylene Dizon, si Bojo Molina. Si Rico Yan, in spirit.”< ABS-CBN.com asked Judy Ann how it feels like working again with her showbiz friends. “Bilang matatanda natutulog na lang kami sa set,” Judy Ann shared while laughing. “Nag-chichikahan kami tuwing break time, dinner out, pero there comes a certain time kanya-kanya na kami ng position kasi nga gusto matulog at magpahinga pero masaya pa rin, ang pinag-uusapan na ngayon mga anak, mga asawa.
