Khos break silence on Hayden's 'suicide attempt'!

The family of embattled doctor Hayden Kho Jr. on Monday shot down all “sinister speculations,” including his alleged suicide attempt, that surfaced following his sudden hospitalization last week.
In an unsigned statement sent to abs-cbnNEWS.com, Khos vehemently denied the rumors on Hayden's alleged attempt to end his life.
“We had remained silent and avoided the media for many months now in the hope of regaining some semblance of normalcy in our lives. This time, however, we find it necessary to clarify the malicious rumors involving our son. Hayden did not attempt to commit suicide,” the statement read.

The Kho family then disclosed the circumstances behind Hayden’s hospitalization.
According to the statement, on the night of December 3, Hayden was driving to join his friends in Tagaytay when he started feeling nauseous and feverish.
It said Hayden stopped his car as he felt the need to throw up. He had successive bouts of vomiting accompanied by severe abdominal pains, it added.
“Some people brought him to the Estrella Hospital in Cavite. We then asked that he be transferred to the Manila Doctors Hospital. When he arrived at the Manila Doctors Hospital, he was running a very high fever and experiencing intense pain in the midsection,” Khos said.
His attending doctors suspect that he is suffering from intestinal flu, which could have been induced or aggravated by stress, according to the Kho family.
“As you are all aware, Hayden is undergoing tremendous physical and emotional stress, with the unfortunate decision of the Board of Medicine to revoke his license to practice medicine,” the statement read.
Hayden’s family appealed for compassion and understanding as they “deal with this matter in private.” They also “implore” Hayden’s critics to refrain from condemning him prematurely "and just let the legal system decide his fate."
Actress Katrina Halili and Hayden Kho have been involved in the sex video scandal.
They noted that ever since the sex video scandal broke out they “have been through enormous amounts of pain and suffering.”
“We have kept our silence even when so many people were very quick to pass judgment and condemn our son. We have kept our silence even when some politicians ride on the issue in order to gain political mileage. Please allow us some space so that our son can mend his life and find his path,” the statement added.
Hayden was at the center of controversy after his sex videos with various women, including sexy actress Katrina Halili, spread online.
This prompted Halili, who said that the video was taken without her knowledge, to file a complaint against him. Halili also asked the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) to revoke his license.
Recently, Hayden was charged with violation of Republic Act (RA) 9262, or the "Anti-Violence Against Women and Children Act," before a Pasig court. The PRC also released its decision  revoking Kho’s license.
In his previous interviews, Hayden also admitted that he attempted to commit suicide when his former girlfriend, Dr. Vicki Belo, ended their relationship after he was caught having an affair with Halili.
