Roxanne Guinoo admits she misses doing drama!

To be part of the Star Magic World Tour Concert because she gets to do her share to entertain people and help flood victims at the same time. Proceeds of the concert (which will be held at the Araneta Coliseum on November 13), will be donated to the Typhoon Ondoy and Pepeng victims. “Ginawa na namin ito sa US so madali na for us,” Roxanne explained.

After having appeared in the horror television series Florinda, Roxanne is still waiting for her next project. Although she is currently part of a sitcom in another TV station, Roxanne said that she misses doing drama already. “Oo naman nakaka-miss ang umiyak kesa magpatawa kasi lagi na akong nagko-comedy, eh,” she said. She denied claims that her career has become stale since she has no primetime teleserye now. “Hindi naman siguro,” she defended. “May cycle ‘yan, eh. Andami naming artista at ilan lang naman ang flags natin sa primetime so hindi kami pwede lahat magsabay-sabay, ‘yun lang ‘yun. Palawakin natin ang isip natin sa mga ganyang issue.”

The actress revealed that ABS-CBN management is working out a soap opera where she would be part of. “Pero siyempre hintayin muna nating mag-roll ‘yung camera at umere. Sana matuloy,” Roxanne said. She added that she will be content and happy with whatever work the management will entrust to her and is grateful that artists like her are allowed to do projects in other TV stations.

She refused to comment when asked if her next project is supposedly with former leading man and ex-boyfriend Jake Cuenca, but said that she is okay to work with him again. “Walang akong magiging problema kung magkakatrabaho kami basta maganda ‘yung storya,” she declared.

Also Roxanne explained that she has no regrets that her role in the previous Precious Hearts Romances: Bud Brothers was given to Kaye Abad. After the said series, Kaye’s team up with Guji Lorenzana became a hit, that they now have another afternoon soap. “Lahat naman ng naging desisyon ko sa trabaho ko, wala naman akong pinagsisisihan.”o be part of the Star Magic World Tour Concert because she gets to do her share to entertain people and help flood victims at the same time.
